Before the First Outing
What size pet is this sling designed for?
It is recommended for cats and small dogs up to approximately 6 kg / 13.2 lb. Also compare your pet’s body size with the 43 × 15 × 25 cm carrier dimensions.
Is the shoulder strap adjustable?
Yes. The strap adjusts from approximately 73 to 120 cm so the sling can sit higher against the torso or lower around the hip.
Should the safety tether connect to a collar?
No. Attach the built-in tether to a properly fitted chest harness. Connecting it directly to a neck collar may place pressure on the neck if the pet jumps or pulls.
Can the top opening be closed?
The carrier includes an adjustable breathable mesh opening. Secure it around the pet while maintaining comfortable airflow and enough room for normal breathing.
Is the exterior waterproof?
The nylon exterior is water-resistant for light moisture and small splashes. It is not intended for heavy rain, immersion or standing water.
Can this carrier be used in a car?
It can be used for carrying the pet to and from a vehicle, but it is not identified as a crash-tested car restraint. Use an appropriate vehicle carrier or restraint system while driving.
Is the sling escape-proof?
No soft carrier can guarantee that every pet will never escape. Adjust the mesh opening, connect the safety tether to a harness and supervise the pet throughout use.
How should the sling be cleaned?
Spot clean or gently hand wash with mild detergent, then air dry in a ventilated area. Do not machine wash, bleach, tumble dry or dry clean.
