I was a little worried my cat wouldn’t stay in it, but he settled in almost right away. The size is perfect for him, and he loves being up high enough to look around and stay close to us. On longer drives he’ll even curl up and nap with his head resting on the side. It fits nicely on our center console without taking up the passenger seat, and the padded sides feel really cozy. Definitely one of the better travel purchases I’ve made for him.

I’ve been using it with the white mesh cover on, and that setup works better for my cat. She can still see what’s going on around her, but the enclosed sides seem to help her stay in one place instead of trying to climb out. The mesh has good airflow and doesn’t make the carrier feel too closed in. I usually use the open seat for very short drives and add the mesh cover when we’re going a little farther. It’s been a nice option to have both ways.
